Vision Strategy

Evangelism Strategy: We will provide a spiritually appealing ministry with intentional evangelism where people will freely and wholeheartedly desire to connect with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for personal faith, spiritual renewal, and skillful living.

  • Developing an inspiring and inclusive worship experience that provides refreshing spiritual renewal.
  • Training every member in at least one method of evangelism
  • Using intentional evangelistic efforts for connecting with the millennium generation of North Dallas (ie. forums, coffee topic discussions, events).
  • Identifying and mobilizing for leadership those who exhibit the gift of evangelism.
  • Regularly presenting and promoting events that target the felt needs of non-Christians and non-church.
  • Providing community based outreach ministry that serves the real needs of the community.

Visitor Strategy: We will provide an engaging, welcoming community where non-Christians, non-churched, and under-churched communities are loved, welcomed, and made to feel safe and accepted in our church family.

  • Creating information centers where visitors can learn more about the activities/events of our church.
  • Providing safe forums for introducing visitors to dynamic Christian living.
  • Creating event-driven/sermon tie-ins for our visitors.
  • Creating visitor-friendly fellowships for first time visitors.
  • Creating visitor-friendly outreach experiences with our church.
  • Targeting visitors with special events of interest for spiritual discovery and practical living.
  • Creating and maintaining a usable data base for follow-through and engagement of our visitors.

Discipleship Strategy: We will provide a spiritually enriching environment where new Christians can discover their spiritual calling and gift(s) and their pathway to spiritual maturity, commitment, and kingdom reproduction.

  • Developing strategies for helping newcomers connect with God, daily.
  • Developing user-friendly orientation models for helping newcomers assimilate into the life of the church and the kingdom overall.
  • Helping all members (newcomers and current members) resolve personal issues and problems, moving into spiritual maturity.
  • Offering Growth group instruction for moving new Christians and immature Christians toward maturity
  • Mobilizing the congregation with gift and calling conferences to help all believers discover their God given purpose for ministry and service.
  • Identifying and placing all members in their God-appointed ministries.
  • Employing a network of congregational care and shepherding for the total church membership.
  • Developing a “crisis care” ministry arm of the church.

Worship Strategy: We will provide an inspiring worship environment where all comers may connect with the presence of God, corporately and individually.

  • Creating worship that includes all cultures and is relevant for the church community.
  • Development of a diversity committee for implementing a diversity strategy.
  • Creating inspiring, interactive worship experiences for all people who visit our church.
  • Becoming a church of passionate corporate and small group prayer
  • Using the latest in audio/visual tools and techniques for worship
  • Expanding worship instructional experiences for inspiring worshippers toward a deeper faith, intimacy, and confidence in the Lord.

Leadership Strategy: We will provide an environment of leadership learning communities where leaders regularly experience personal renewal, training, mentoring, and modeling for effective ministry.

  • Establishing a strong servant hood leadership community for spiritual renewal and vision casting.
  • Training leaders to be Spirit-energized, biblically astute, technologically savvy, and community mobilizing.
  • Identifying and Training future leaders on a annual basis.
  • Establishing policy and procedure for ministries, event planning, and ministry leadership training.
  • Developing a policy manual that empowers leaders to carry out their ministry task with the greatest amount of resources and the least amount of structural restrictions and needless effort.
  • Establishing policy standards of leadership and excellence through the entire church.

Ministry Strategy: We will resound as one corporate voice of vital and dynamic ministry that impacts our city and bridges church and community to the glory of God.

  • Deploying the congregation for hosting ministry in the surrounding community.
  • Educate congregation on the vision and direction of affiliate ministries for involvement and support.
  • Educating and broadening the church’s reach in world missions
  • Training and mobilizing the people for new church plant ventures.
  • Grant writing investigation for 501 (c) (3) facilities and ministry support for services such as technology and arts institute; financial wellness institute; marriage institute; transitional housing services, recreation services, cultural interaction services.
  • Developing on-going strategies for investigating new opportunities for ministry.
